college
im finally going into college this year at central piedmont community college in charlotte north carolina. i will be going to 2 different campuses. one to where is right down the road to me and the other in downtown charlotte. im excited and scared at the same time. school starts august 18th and i will be a freshmen.

a little bit about me....
hi ! as you may know my name is katie mcknight.some of you know me and others don't. for those who know me know that i have cerebral palsy on the left side of my body,and that i do everything with my right side. my cerebral palsy is very mild and i have practically lived with it my entire life. the doctors diagnosed me when i was just three months old and they do not know what caused it ,but my parents have their own explanations . i was an epelectic child until i was five or so and i had seizures very often. when i was just 18 months old i had my tonsels taken out, and at 2 i had eye surgery on my right eye because it went up in my head. i had to wear glasses until about 2 years ago . i was in and out of the hospital my whole entire life until about 3 years ago when i had surgery to try to get my hand as possibly normal as it could get. i will NEVER be able to use my left hand because the nurses casted it to tight and i have very mixed emotions about it. i have the very best of friends i could ever have and they love me 4 me. TO ALL OF THEM.... I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WELL thats a little about me . thanks for reading!
